Training on Government Websites

Now that you are registered with various acquisition websites (System for Award Management, City of Memphis, and Shelby County Government), you are probably wondering what is next. In this training, you will discover practical steps for growing your business with the government including:

• Utilizing the System for Award Management (SAM), Beta.sam.gov, Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS.gov), Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS), and USAspending.gov to identify your target customer
• Reading and understanding procurement forecasts
• How to identify sub-contracting opportunities
• Learning about certifications- Which certification fits you best?
