This course will cover how to use QuickBooks for your accounting needs. Participants should have a beginning understanding of accounting practices. You will work with a sample file in class and will delete, add, and correct data. A new business file will then be created for practice purposes in class. Topics include: creating a company, sole owner, chart of accounts, items and services, type of accounts, adding accounts, quick start menu, passwords, vendors, customers, employees, entering bills, checks, reports, sales tax setup, managing sales tax, invoices, receiving payments, reconciling, balance sheet, void and delete, deposits, and refunds.
