QuickBooks Online for Small Business Owners

During this course, your speaker, Wes Bynum, will discuss the importance of proper recordkeeping for small business and focus primarily on utilizing the QuickBooks Online platform to do so. We will first highlight the government regulations surrounding recordkeeping requirements, and then talk about the best compliances practices for a small business owner to adopt from a CPA standpoint. We will then move into the use of the QuickBooks Online platform including transaction recording, reconciliation, and reporting. The emphasis will be on how to maintain data in a manner that is not only legally compliant, but is also useful to the business owner.

About your speaker: Wesley Bynum is the owner of Bynum CPA, PLLC, a local CPA firm, located in Murfreesboro. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and obtained an undergraduate degree in accounting, as well as an MBA with a concentration in management. He is a licensed CPA in the state of TN, and holds membership in both the Tennessee Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is actively involved and holds board positions in several community organizations. Wesley is married and has one son. In his spare time he enjoys working on his family farm, playing golf, attending sporting events, visiting the beach, and spending time with his family.
