This workshop is designed to provide new business owners with an overview of Small Business tax issues, which focus on general state and local tax law requirements. Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to business structures, filing requirements, business taxes, employees vs. sub-contractors, payroll taxes (FICA/FUTA), property taxes, COVID-19 business updates (Tennessee CARES Act Management System) and other tax related issues.
