“The State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services, with participation from the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, is presenting our “New Facility Orientation” program. This comprehensive training session is for anyone who has questions about starting or operating a Day Care Facility in the State of Tennessee. The event will be held from 9 AM – 12 PM, at Wilson County DHS, located at 155 Legends Drive, Suite G Lebanon, TN 37087. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, Small Business Start-up/Development Information, Fire Regulations, and Miscellaneous Licensing Information to include - a Summary of Licensing Requirements, Criminal History/Background Check Process, Environmental/Codes, Overview of Report Card/Star Quality Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Federal Compliance Requirements. The program will also cover a series of steps that should be taken after attending program. There is no charge for attendance, but pre-registration is required.
