If you are thinking of starting your own business, there is a lot you need to know. A free seminar that will be presented this month by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at TTU will help get you headed in the right direction. “So, You Want to Start a Business?” is the title of the seminar being presented from 5p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2nd on Tennessee Tech’s campus at Johnson Hall room 218 located on Peachtree Ave. Led by John Woodard, Assistant Director of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at TTU, the seminar will address topics of interest to potential entrepreneurs and new small business owners. Those topics include business startup basics, business structures, challenges for startups, business planning, cash needs, financing options, and more. Although admission is free, registration is required and can be done here or by calling the TSBDC’s office at TTU at (931) 372-3648.
