Perfect Your Pitch: How to Craft an Elevator Pitch That Opens Doors
In this interactive workshop, hosted by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), Sarah will guide you through the process of crafting and delivering a powerful elevator pitch tailored to your business. The session kicks off with vocal and physical warm-up exercises to help you get comfortable speaking in front of others. From there, you'll learn how to structure your message, communicate your value clearly, and practice delivering it in a way that feels natural and compelling.
In a previous chapter of her life, Sarah Becht was a dedicated performer. She spent her formative years immersed in the performing arts—studying acting, vocal performance, ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom, and pointe. Her passion for the stage led her to perform with numerous community theaters and eventually land a spot with a professional production company based in North Carolina — all before the age of 18.
Drawing from that rich performance background, Sarah brings a unique perspective to public speaking—one grounded in presence, confidence, and authentic connection.
By the end of the session, our goal is for you to deliver your pitch confidently—so well-rehearsed it feels like second nature.
Small business owners, entrepreneurs, and team members who want to improve how they introduce and represent their business in any setting.
