GSA purchases a broad range of goods and services for the federal government. GSA's Federal Supply Service Schedules Program is a + $20 billion program. GSA Schedules have become increasingly popular because many contracting officers, federal purchasers, and vendors find them very quick and easy to use. The objective of this training is to review the GSA procurement process, explain terms & definitions, "how to get on the schedule", as well as review of the preliminary steps involved in doing business with the Federal Government. GSA preliminary criteria ***************************** - Must be registered in the www.sam.gov database. - Projected government sales to reach at least $100,000. - Show financial capability. - In most cases, to have been in business for at least 2 years.
