The U.S. Small Business Administration will present this program which is designed to address special SBA programs in relation to government contracting. The following programs will be explained, and questions will be answered: -HUBZone The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. -8(a) Business Development Program It helps small, disadvantaged businesses compete in the marketplace. - WOSB The Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program authorizes contracting officers to set aside certain federal contracts for eligible small businesses.
