This class helps new businesses understand the basics of Tennessee taxes and how to navigate the TNTAP (Tennessee Taxpayer Access Point) system. Participants will learn about common state taxes, essential registration steps, and how to use TNTAP for filing and payments. Attendees will leave better prepared to start their business with a clear understanding of their tax responsibilities.
Speaker(s): Jeremy Cain has been with the Tennessee Department of Revenue since 2021, serving as a Supervisor and now playing a key role in the Revenue Taxpayer Services Education Department. He presents webinars on behalf of the Department, helping ensure public compliance by educating taxpayers on essential topics, including tax requirements and recent changes to Tennessee tax law.
