Learn how to do business with the government in this comprehensive 3-hour course which overviews the entire federal procurement process, from start to finish. You will learn how to participate in and be successful in today's procurement marketplace. Who should attend? Seasoned businesses interested in diversifying their business strategy Businesses who are exploring, or have acquired, a government contract either as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. Business interested in the opportunity to engage in contracting and need to familiarize themselves with the total picture. The University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services has provided these services since 1986. PTAC is funded, in part, by the U.S. Department of Defense and is administered through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency.   This program is presented by the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services Procurement Technical Assistance Center and will include discussion about the many types of goods and services needed by government agencies and how small business owners can register to participate in the government contracting process.
