Barry Coggins, owner of SLUF Consulting, will cover best practices in securing business and customer data and as well as ways to prevent loss of data. Most businesses today use a variety of technologies from computers, smartphones and tablets each containing customer data and/or business information. As responsible professionals, we should become knowledgeable of how to protect that information and secure our networks. Barry Coggins will provide answers to questions such as: Who has access to information saved to the cloud? What should you do to prevent access to a misplaced business laptop or smartphone? As access to increased levels of technology becomes more affordable for the small business owner, the responsibility to secure data increases as well. Explore these business technology questions with us in this informative and critical seminar! Pizza and drinks will be provided for this lunchtime event.
