BrightBridge, an SBA Certified Development Corporation, will show lenders how they can elevate rural small businesses and increase access to capital in rural communities by offering SBA’s 504 Fixed Asset Loan program to their small business customers. Why Attend? The Small Business Administration 504 Loan Program was created in 1986 to promote economic development. Whether you are a commercial lender who has followed SBA’s 504 loan over its 34 year history or this is your first introduction, this general overview will help you to help your customers who are seeking to purchase real estate, construct a new building, renovate an existing structure, or purchase heavy machinery or equipment to benefit from this fixed-rate loan program. Along with the basics of the program, you will also learn how the 504: • Can alleviate loan concentration by customer and by industry. • Bank loan can be sold in the secondary market. • Provides refinance for expansion or cash out.
